Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that create a safe space for clients to share experiences, foster connections, and learn from one another.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions where you will provide empathetic counseling, helping clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors while developing personalized coping strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their needs and preferences, ensuring active participation in their own recovery process.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress using various assessment tools and feedback, making necessary adjustments to treatment as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on supporting young adults aged 18 to 30 who are undergoing outpatient treatment to address mental health challenges. As a counselor, you will engage directly with adolescents and young adults during a pivotal stage in their lives, incorporating holistic treatment programs and evidence-based practices to foster their well-being and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• At least 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly in working with young adults.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth counseling and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be advantageous. Candidates with prior experience in developing treatment plans and working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting will stand out.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The licensed Professional Counselor position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 yearly , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide:
