Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within our facility, ensuring personalized and effective rehabilitation plans.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment goals and strategies as necessary to support optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams by providing education on treatment methods, self-care techniques, and proper use of assistive devices.
• Participate actively in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Engage in reassessment of patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly to ensure that therapeutic objectives are met efficiently.
• Support in training staff and contributing to a mentorship program for new graduates, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from young children to older adults, encompassing a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and arthritis. Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems for patient documentation.
• Flexibility and agility to adapt to varying patient needs and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not required, candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy are preferred.
