Work Environment

This position will be conducted onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Clearwater, Florida. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and treatment spaces designed to provide optimal rehabilitation experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with functional limitations or disabilities due to orthopedic conditions to devise tailored treatment plans.
• Consult with other healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care for each patient to ensure a seamless treatment process.
• Implement appropriate clinical techniques and evidence-based practices, adapting to the diverse needs of patients regardless of their age or cultural background.
• Regularly assess and re-evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and ensuring adherence to established productivity standards.
• Document all evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Maintain strong communication, both verbal and written, collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team, other healthcare providers, and patients to optimize care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, trauma, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility and function. Your role will require you to be empathetic and culturally sensitive, addressing the varying needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups. By focusing on patient-centered care, you will play a vital role in improving patients' overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with advanced orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Experience working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication.
