Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our clinic in Clearwater. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and designed to foster professional growth. You will work in a facility that encourages innovation in treatment approaches and utilizes a variety of techniques to ensure that each patient receives the highest level of care. Our structured schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals, needs, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions based on assessment findings.
• Implement various therapeutic modalities to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility, targeting specific orthopedic issues.
• See 2-3 patients each hour, ensuring efficient but high-quality care.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care services meticulously using EMR software, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate health records.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, emphasizing preventative care and health promotion.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by designing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. We aim to reduce reliance on medications and surgical interventions while empowering patients through education and active participation in their rehabilitation process. As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will play a vital role in this journey, ensuring that each client receives personalized attention and evidence-based care tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapist License with no board actions or disciplinary actions on record.
• Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Demonstrated manual therapy skills and strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic exercises.
• Ability to work independently, while also being a proactive team member.
• Familiarity with EMR software systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required.
• Experience providing evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and communicate with patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
