Position Overview

Active Life Orthopedic Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

This position is based in a home care setting, allowing therapists to deliver personalized care directly in patients' homes. By working in this environment, you will be able to create a more comfortable and familiar atmosphere for your patients, which is essential for fostering recovery and rehabilitation. You will engage with patients during regular weekday hours, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to recognize their individual objectives and functional limitations, creating a clear treatment roadmap tailored to their needs.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing dedicated, one-on-one care to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer a variety of cost-effective therapy techniques aimed at improving clients' mobility and range of motion.
• Focus on reducing reliance on medications by offering non-surgical alternatives that promote long-term health.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans incorporating diverse therapeutic techniques that address various orthopedic conditions.
• Engage patients in personalized fitness and wellness programs that encourage active participation and empower them in their recovery journeys.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatments to optimize their functionality and independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Document patient services accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations, utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Monitor patient progress effectively, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and ailments that affect their daily functional abilities. Our client demographic ranges from active adults to seniors, and you will tailor your approach to suit varying levels of physical ability and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida without any disciplinary actions recorded.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective therapeutic exercise programs.
• Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT, for patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist within orthopedic outpatient settings, preferably with home care exposure.
• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities and an understanding of the most recent advancements in physical therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life Orthopedic Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 95,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and commitment to patient care.
