Position Overview

Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Dulles, Virginia. This full-time position requires an individual committed to delivering exceptional care within our Rehabilitation Center, focusing on patient recovery and rehabilitation. Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center features advanced therapeutic equipment and resources designed to maximize patient recovery. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapy assistants, in an onsite setting. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring function in alignment with each patient's individual goals.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants, ensuring the accurate execution of care plans and therapy protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess muscle function, mobility, and overall physical capabilities through diagnostic testing.
• Evaluate and adapt the home environment as needed to foster patient independence and safety, making tailored recommendations to enhance their rehabilitation experience.
• Administer manual therapeutic exercises and provide instruction and motivation to clients for non-manual exercises and functional activities.
• Manage physical agents such as traction and massage therapies, documenting all treatments accurately in clinical records.
• Assess and recommend prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal modifications for patient needs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies, contributing insights from direct evaluations and patient interactions.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide education on physical therapy methods, including the use and care of therapeutic devices, to both patients and their families.
• Complete regular functional assessments and adapt care plans according to the ongoing evaluation of patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or similar field.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist, with a preference for acute care or home care settings.
• Current and active Physical Therapist licensure in Virginia, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive demeanor to foster collaboration and trust.
• Demonstrated ability to interact compassionately and effectively with a diverse patient demographic.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation or home healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with contemporary physical therapy technologies and methodologies.
• Experience working within an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
