Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and screening tools to inform treatment and ensure adherence to best practices in mental health counseling.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to develop pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, ensuring a safety-first approach for all clients.
• Document client progress and treatment updates in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
• Foster relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as community organizations to enhance service offerings and expand resource networks.
• Champion the agency’s mission and values in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and community partners.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your counseling expertise will impact a diverse range of clients, including children, families, and couples coping with various mental health challenges. You will specifically address issues related to co-occurring disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, adapting your approach to suit the unique needs of each individual or group.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or related fields from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Social Worker (LICSW) is required.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary counseling principles, techniques, and practices applicable to individual and family settings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling or therapy, with a focus on co-occurring disorders or substance abuse treatment.
• Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, preferably with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in working with children, families, and couples, customizing therapeutic techniques to meet varying needs.

Compensation and Benefits
