Work Environment

This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a highly collaborative approach with your colleagues. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs during initial consultations, and establish rapport to create a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, aiming to improve clients’ mental health outcomes.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive techniques that promote inclusivity and address specific challenges faced by diverse populations.
• Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluations, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and adjustment to individual client needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including referrals to psychiatrists and other specialists when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you work with may present with a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in creating a safe and supportive environment for clients from diverse backgrounds, including those with unique cultural perspectives on mental health. Understanding various cultural contexts and reactions to therapy will enhance your effectiveness in treatment, fostering growth and healing.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure in Washington State as a LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience encompassing a variety of mental health issues.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatments, showcasing cultural sensitivity in therapeutic approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with a wide array of individuals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy is encouraged, particularly with a focus on a therapeutic approach that respects and understands cultural nuances.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and digital communication tools to streamline patient care and record-keeping.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical guidelines and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

Compensation and Benefits
