Group Connect Mental Health Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) to join our team. This remote role involves supporting clients through various stages of mental health treatment, especially focusing on the psychosocial needs of those affected by cancer. Work Environment

This is a Full-Time remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from your own home while ensuring you remain connected with your team through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, utilizing standard diagnostic tools to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, incorporating both traditional and innovative therapeutic modalities.
• Deliver a combination of in-person and remote counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, or groups, adapting your approach based on client preferences and needs.
• Employ evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to foster therapeutic growth.
• Monitor the latest research in mental health treatments and integrate applicable findings into your practice to ensure clients receive the most current and effective therapies.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation and client interactions adhere to best practice guidelines.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to continuously enhance your therapeutic skills.
• Carefully document therapy sessions, client progress, and treatment plans in accordance with organizational policy and state regulations.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall mission of Group Connect Mental Health Services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on adult patients facing a variety of mental health challenges, particularly those coping with the psychological impacts of cancer. You'll provide them with supportive counseling, education about available resources, and a safe space to explore their feelings and concerns throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third party.
• A proven ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage in holistic treatment approaches.
• Strong communication skills - both listening and sharing information effectively to ensure clear exchanges with clients and colleagues.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health setting or with oncology patients is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote counseling methodologies.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting and managing client information.
• Prior experience in providing group therapy or facilitating support groups is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
