Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children's developmental skills to identify areas needing extra support.
\n
• Participate actively in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) development, ensuring that interventions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
\n
• Implement and monitor IFSPs, collaborating closely with families and other team members to track progress and outcomes.
\n
• Provide educational support and guidance to families, enhancing their understanding of developmental milestones and effective strategies to foster their child’s growth.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment framework to conduct your work, ensuring services are both effective and supportive.
\n
• Maintain adherence to all federal and state regulations concerning social work practices, including client confidentiality and ethical standards.
\n
• Develop rapport with children and their families, establishing trust to create an effective, empathetic learning environment.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your clinical skills and professional expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young children, specifically babies and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. You will provide early intervention services that support the development of essential skills such as communication, social-emotional responses, and cognitive abilities, ultimately forming the foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.

• Valid licensing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State Department of Public Health.

• A current driver’s license as travel may be required for occasional in-home visits or community visits.

• Skilled at adapting therapeutic approaches to different learning styles and needs.

• A commitment to implementing Natural Learning Environment Practices in all interventions.

• Proficiency in engaging with children, families, and multidisciplinary team members to foster collaborative approaches to care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of previous experience in early intervention or related fields involving children.

• Bilingual proficiency is encouraged to enhance communication with diverse family backgrounds.

• A strong track record of effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
