Work Environment

The onsite rehabilitation facility in Brick, New Jersey, is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies designed to support patient recovery. Our team operates in a collaborative setting where communication and teamwork are essential. You will have the chance to work alongside other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create an integrated approach to patient care. The usual work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a work-life balance that our team values.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans that enhance mobility and function.
• Deliver innovative, cost-effective treatment solutions focused on improving patients' motion, flexibility, and overall health.
• Minimize reliance on medications by providing patients with alternative therapeutic solutions and reducing the need for surgical interventions.
• Create individualized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and proven methodologies to ensure optimal patient outcomes and to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Regularly motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process to maximize recovery and improve their daily living activities.
• Accurate documentation of treatment protocols, patient progress, and interactions to comply with regulatory standards and enhance care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes needing rehabilitation post-injury, and patients with chronic pain or movement disorders. Your ability to develop specialized programs will be critical in helping each patient reach their highest potential and functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current certification as a Licensed Physical Therapist, with a clean professional record.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills.
• Expertise in developing individualized exercise regimens and manual therapy techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized treatment techniques or advanced certifications in orthopedic therapy are highly encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits
