Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop customized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific orthopedic conditions, using clinical judgment and evidence-based research.
• Implement and supervise hands-on therapeutic exercises and interventions designed to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and promote recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and prescribed home exercises to empower them in their journey to wellness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide cohesive patient care, referring patients to specialists as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and adherence to compliance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on patients suffering from a range of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, joint replacement, and chronic pain issues. The Physical Therapist will engage with diverse patient demographics, tailoring treatment approaches to effectively address individual goals and rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited program is required.
• An active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, which may include internships and residencies.
• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and common orthopedic conditions.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and modalities designed to alleviate pain and enhance functional abilities.

Preferred Experience
