Work Environment

Located in the heart of Avenel, our Rehabilitation Center offers a collaborative and supportive onsite work environment. This full-time role requires a commitment to a Monday through Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's healthcare goals and physician's recommendations.
• Deliver therapeutic care using evidence-based techniques to foster maximum recovery and functional improvement.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, home exercise programs, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with a broader healthcare team, engaging in multidisciplinary discussions to maximize patient care and outcomes.
• Meet established utilization goals while ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals with orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric conditions, and sports-related physical therapy needs. Each patient presents unique challenges, requiring you to apply your clinical skills empathetically and effectively, addressing their specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, caregivers, and team members.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and capable of maintaining organized records.
• Demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with patients to inspire motivation and compliance.
• Strong desire to contribute positively to the healthcare community.

Preferred Experience

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is preferred.
• Two years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
