Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' counseling needs, including determining substance abuse diagnoses using DSM criteria.
\n
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address both substance use and mental health issues, utilizing ASAM criteria to recommend appropriate levels of care.
\n
• Prepare and document the substance abuse counseling components of treatment plans, ensuring accurate assessment records are maintained.
\n
• Create individualized discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate a smooth transition to the next level of care.
\n
• Maintain an active caseload, conducting case management duties including treatment planning, clinical charting, and progress notes as required.
\n
• Coordinate and document support services provided to clients and their families, enhancing the overall treatment experience.
\n
• Engage with external referral sources such as legal, school, or employer representatives to ensure comprehensive client support.
\n
• Facilitate crisis interventions utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach to address urgent needs of clients effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. This diverse patient population may include individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and life circumstances, each requiring a tailored approach to therapy and recovery. You will play a crucial role in fostering a sense of hope and empowerment, enabling clients to take charge of their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Florida.
\n
• Strong knowledge of DSM and ASAM criteria for substance use disorders.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
\n
• Cultural competence and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working within a detox or addiction treatment environment.

• Experience with group therapy facilitation and family therapy.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation best practices.

• Proven self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package is comprehensive and includes:
