Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Mechanical Machine Assemblers for a manufacturing equipment company in Howard Lake, MN. In this role, you'll help build and assemble industrial finishing machinery while working with a stable team in a hands-on environment. What You'll Do as a Mechanical Machine Assembler:

• Assemble machine frames, turrets, and other equipment components using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials
• Inspect products throughout the assembly process to ensure quality standards are met
• Communicate with engineers, designers, and technicians to resolve assembly issues
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products as needed
• Prepare machinery for shipment, including crating and packaging activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while completing assigned tasks

What You Need to Bring to the Mechanical Machine Assembler Role:

• Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical components
• Ability to lift and position assembled components and stand throughout the workday
• Forklift experience preferred
• MIG/TIG welding experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and travel occasionally for field service work if needed
