Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' mental health needs, identifying appropriate treatment options and therapeutic strategies tailored to each individual.

• Provide evidence-based therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, including accurate treatment notes and progress reports.

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to promote comprehensive client care and to ensure best practices are shared and implemented across the organization.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on shared experiences and support, encouraging connection and healing among participants.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families who may face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. You will work with clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. The goal is to promote healing and resilience through personalized therapeutic interventions while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMHC license in the state of New York is mandatory.
