This position offers a flexible work setting that includes telehealth sessions combined with the option for in-person interactions in Lancaster, New York. Key Responsibilities\n

• Foster an open dialogue with clients to facilitate their emotional expression and self-discovery, guiding them towards greater self-awareness and personal growth.

• Advocate for your clients' needs by helping them establish realistic and achievable therapeutic goals tailored to their unique situations.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via telehealth, utilizing video conferencing tools designed for secure and effective client engagement.

• Perform thorough assessments of clients' mental well-being to create individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based strategies and solution-focused interventions.

• Provide ongoing support and engage in regular follow-up sessions to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the client's well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will consist of pre-screened adults exhibiting low acuity mental health concerns. This ensures that the clients you work with are stable enough for effective therapeutic support, allowing you to focus on creating meaningful interventions without the burden of more severe mental health cases. We prioritize aligning you with clients that match your specific specialties and preferences, enhancing both your satisfaction and their therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• Licensing: You must hold a valid license to practice independently as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW without supervision.

• Strong clinical acumen with a proven capacity to develop effective and individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and a compassionate approach to client interactions.

• Technologically savvy with proficiency in telehealth tools and electronic documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While direct experience with diverse populations is beneficial, we value strong communication skills and a willingness to engage with a variety of client backgrounds. Experience in developing treatment plans and a solid understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities will help you thrive in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Salary: Competitive yearly compensation ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.

• Financial Benefits: Weekly direct deposits and a monthly healthcare stipend are provided for full-time counselors.

• Minimal administrative tasks to allow you to focus primarily on client care, enhancing your overall job satisfaction.

• Onboarding is streamlined, with the potential to start conducting sessions in as little as 1-3 days post-hire.
