Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to explore patients' histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate recovery.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, equipping clients with immediate support and resources.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available coping mechanisms for navigating their mental health journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring comprehensive record-keeping for each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a guaranteed pay structure, we provide opportunities for annual increases and bonuses. Our benefits package includes:
