Position Overview Position title: Pediatric Gastroenterology Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment. The base pay range for this position is $82,200 – $240,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Application Window Open date: June 11, 2026 Next review date: Sunday, Jul 12, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Jun 11, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position Description The Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego (UCSD) seeks Pediatric Gastroenterologists to join our Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at UCSD and Rady Children’s Health (RCH). The position is an opportunity to focus on pancreatic disorders within a division that houses 23 attending faculty, 7 advanced practice providers, and 6 ACGME pediatric gastroenterology fellows. Successful candidates will deliver high‑quality inpatient and outpatient care, perform procedures, supervise and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students, and engage in scholarly and research activities to advance the department’s academic mission. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric gastroenterology care, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Supervise, mentor, and teach pediatric residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and academic settings. Participate actively in research and scholarly endeavors that contribute to the department’s academic mission. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and services. Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application): MD or equivalent degree. Eligibility for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit.
