Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients through imaging techniques. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to determine appropriate imaging strategies Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in radiology Maintain detailed and accurate patient records Educate patients about procedures and address their concerns Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives Stay updated with advancements in radiological technology and practices Requirements Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution Active medical license to practice in the state of Virginia Experience in a radiology setting, preferably as a locum Strong proficiency in various imaging modalities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to patient care and safety Familiarity with electronic medical records systems Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p Setting: Onsite Daily volume: 55 RVUs Caseload: 40% XR, 35% CT, 10% IR/fluoro, 5% MR, 5% US, and 5% mammo Required Procedures: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drain, chest tube, percutaneous drain, CT/US-guided biopsies, arthrogram, lumbar puncture, and fluoro RPCE Tech Stack & Powerscribe 4.0 Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr
