Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Bakersfield, where you will be part of a collaborative environment that fosters professional growth and teamwork. The clinic operates with a schedule focused on patient convenience, which typically includes work from Monday to Friday, with shifts from 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations, particularly in children.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring that therapies are tailored to meet specific goals.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress, utilizing the company's electronic medical record system to complete necessary documentation, including SOAP notes and progress summaries, in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and their families about the physical rehabilitation process, helping them understand treatment objectives and expected challenges during recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary peers within Ensemble Therapy for clients requiring multiple services, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient outcomes.

• Meet stipulated utilization goals and business objectives to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse patient population, catering to individuals across various age groups, ethnic backgrounds, and medical diagnoses. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide specialized care to children, addressing general developmental concerns as well as specific therapeutic needs. A commitment to inclusivity and sensitivity to the unique experiences of each patient is essential to your role.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure by the Board of Physical Therapy to practice in California.
• Willingness to conduct physical therapy evaluations and treatment sessions both in-person and via telehealth to meet patient needs.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
