Work Environment

Your work will primarily take place onsite within our facility, where you will collaborate with a small team composed of two other physical therapists and a PTA. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured environment that promotes a balanced work-life dynamic. You will have access to modern treatment areas designed to facilitate a comprehensive approach to physical rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Manage a caseload typically averaging one patient per hour, ensuring that you provide quality, tailored care to each individual.
• Design and implement effective care plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Utilize advanced modalities and manual therapies to optimize patient function and mobility while promoting strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Document treatment services meticulously to track progress and outcomes while maintaining compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Monitor patient progress continually, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage in patient education to motivate and empower individuals in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, including referrals to other specialists when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Bonneville Peak, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographic includes a mix of young athletes, adults, and seniors, all seeking rehabilitation to return to their daily activities with improved strength and functional capabilities. Your role is vital in minimizing their reliance on medications and offering alternative solutions to invasive procedures through effective therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid physical therapist license in California.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy and physical therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a physical therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in developing individualized exercise regimens tailored to varying levels of patient need.
• A strong background in successfully managing a diverse caseload within a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, which reflects your level of experience and dedication.
