We are a legal staffing firm partnering with a welcoming, mid-sized law firm in San Francisco to find an enthusiastic Hospitality Clerk for an immediate temporary opportunity. This role offers the strong potential to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate who excels and fits well with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients, visitors, and guests with a friendly, professional demeanor and ensure they feel welcome upon arrival

• Manage the reception area, answer incoming calls, take accurate messages, and direct inquiries appropriately

• Set up and break down conference rooms, including arranging refreshments, water, coffee, snacks, and ensuring rooms are clean and well-stocked

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of pantries, kitchens, supply closets, common areas, and visitor spaces

• Restock office supplies, beverages, and pantry items as needed

• Assist with light administrative tasks, such as mail handling, basic copying/scanning, coordinating deliveries, and supporting office events or meetings

• Provide backup support for reception and other office services when required

• Help foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere by assisting colleagues and contributing to smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, reception, office services, customer service, or a similar client-facing role (law firm or professional services experience is a plus but not required)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, approachable personality

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively

• Comfortable lifting/moving up to 25-30 lbs occasionally (e.g., supplies, conference setups)

Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; occasional flexibility for firm events may be needed)

• Compensation: Targeted $25 per hour (negotiable and dependent on experience – DOE)

• Location: On-site in San Francisco (central, accessible location)

• Employment Type: Temporary to start, with excellent potential for conversion to permanent employment based on performance and fit
