IT Service Desk Representative I

In this role you will provide resolutions to diverse computer hardware and software problems based on detailed processes and procedures. You will help support LCRA's efforts to improve the quality of life of the Texans we serve! This is an opportunity to demonstrate and develop your IT skills as you provide first call resolution for technical issues, raise problems to higher level support professionals when needed, and work closely with LCRA's Digital Service environment. If you want to develop your career at an organization with outstanding benefits, training, and meaningful work that enhances the lives of Texans, How You'll Contribute Perform as tier 1 support for end-user computing service requests directed to the Information Technology (IT) Service Desk. Work in a team setting, sharing knowledge and solving problems through effective communication and IT skills. Investigate incidents and restore routine technical and equipment services by analyzing, identifying, and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established procedures. Provide after-hours/on-call support as assigned. How You're Qualified Zero or more years' experience in performing basic to moderately complex hardware and software support using problem solving/troubleshooting skills or relevant experience. How You'll Stand Out Work experience or strong familiarity with AI tools and concepts. Experience with Active Directory and ServiceNow ticketing systems, or similar. Knowledge of IT concepts practices and procedures and resolving inquiries/incidents. Skill in providing customer service.
