About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal role in leading the firm's financial operations, strategy, and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial staff, driving financial planning, and analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role also involves identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing HR-related financial functions, and partnering with external accountants on tax planning and compliance. The CFO will be a key partner to the firm's leadership, with a focus on driving performance and efficiency. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have prior experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a law firm. A strong knowledge of legal billing systems and law firm financial operations is essential. The role requires an individual with experience in managing multiple direct reports, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to balance strategic and day-to-day responsibilities. Strong analytical, reporting, and process improvement skills are also necessary to succeed in this position.
