Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive assessments to gain insights into each client's unique background and mental health status, thereby developing tailored treatment plans that meet their specific needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on addressing a variety of mental health issues, enhancing resilience, and promoting overall mental well-being.

• Collaborate closely with team members, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure that clients receive holistic, coordinated care that addresses all aspects of their mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, offering immediate support and therapeutic guidance to those in need.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and resources available within the community, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our center, you will work primarily with clients from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant families. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
