Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) for an engaging travel position in Auburn, NY. This 13-week assignment offers healthcare professionals the chance to further their ER specialties within a dynamic work environment. Please note that for those living within 50 miles of the facility, a different pay rate is applied.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias)
• Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues
• Administer blood products
• Manage central lines
• Start and maintain IVs
• Administer IV sedation and vasopressors
• Care for stroke (CVA) patients
• Care for ventilated patients
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Follow isolation precautions
• Perform triage

Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in ER; 2 years of recent ER experience required
• Active state nursing license required (NY or compact); application date needed if no NY license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• No disciplinary issues on nursing license
