Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Stepdown for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients in a supportive and collaborative community hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Manage BiPAP/CPAP equipment
• Administer blood products
• Monitor cardiac telemetry
• Care and manage central lines
• Handle chest tubes via Emerson/PleurEvac
• Assess CVA patients
• Interpret arterial blood gases
• Interpret dysrhythmias
• Implement isolation precautions and PPE
• Manage cardiac drips without titration
• Treat and monitor dysrhythmias
• Care for peripheral lines
• Manage PICC lines
• Assist pre/post cardiac catheterization
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Start and maintain IVs
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Experience with Allscripts charting system
• Preferred community hospital and charge experience
