About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a Venture Capital firm. This executive-level position is pivotal in overseeing all financial and administrative operations, driving financial performance, managing investor relations, and shaping the strategic direction of the firm. The CFO will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, capital calls, and distributions. Additionally, the role involves managing valuation processes, developing financial models, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, a degree in accounting or finance, and at least 15 years' of experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in public accounting and specific experience in venture capital. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with excellent interpersonal skills, extremely organized, and have a hands-on approach to working, training, and coaching staff. Responsibilities also include monitoring cash flow, optimizing financial resources, and leading a team of finance professionals. The CFO will be expected to stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the firm's operations. A key aspect of the role is to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of audit reports, as well as to manage the audit process.
