Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise programs
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress per facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and discussions to ensure cohesive care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
