Description
Conduct thorough evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment plans
Implement physical therapy strategies that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts as part of a comprehensive care approach
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercises
Maintain precise documentation of initial evaluations, treatment processes, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and care rounds to ensure cohesive patient care
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from a recognized program

Certifications
State licensure as a Physical Therapist
Preferred CPR certification
Specialized certifications (such as in geriatric or neurological therapy) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
Strongly preferred prior experience in physical therapy
