Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Grounds & Facility MaintenanceExterior Upkeep: Manage the general image, appearance, and maintenance of all plant grounds, parking lots, boulevards, and landscapingSite Services: Oversee seasonal maintenance tasks, including snow removal, salting of walkways and lots, sweeping, and waste managementBuilding Infrastructure: Coordinate the upkeep of physical structures, loading docks, and roofingUtility Support: Supervise routine maintenance and repairs for building utilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systemsSafety, Security & ComplianceCode Enforcement: Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, local zoning laws, fire safety, and ADA accessibility codesEmergency Preparedness: Manage security/fire safety systemsRisk Management: Assess risks of key exterior/interior systems and proactively address gaps to prevent workplace injuriesVendor LeadershipContractor Oversight: Negotiate and manage service contracts with external vendors for specialized repairs, waste disposal, and heavy landscapingQualificationsQualifications & Experience:RequiredHigh School Diploma / GED / Homeschool Certification OR international equivalentMinimum 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenancePreferredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably within a large industrial or manufacturing environmentCertifications in Facilities Management (such as IFMA's CFM) or safety credentials (e.g., OSHA-30) are highly desiredStrong mechanical aptitude with foundational knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systemsWorking Conditions:Ability to navigate large manufacturing sites, lift up to 50lbs, and work in varying weather conditions for grounds inspectionsAdditional InformationJoin a company that values Responsibility, Solidarity, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Respect.
