Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and formulate detailed treatment plans for clients, using the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) guidelines under appropriate supervision.

• Provide short-term psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on a variety of modalities like crisis intervention, couple counseling, and addiction therapy.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment methodologies to address mental health and dual diagnosis disorders, ensuring all therapeutic practices adhere to organizational and regulatory standards.

• Monitor and assess clients’ progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to meet evolving needs and ensuring all clinical documentation is maintained accurately.

• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations with physicians and other healthcare team members to contribute to comprehensive treatment plans.

• Take an active role in case reviews and quality assurance discussions, sharing insights and strategies to enhance service delivery and effective clinical outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active LMFT license in the State of Texas or a Psy.D.
