As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your role encompasses a variety of responsibilities designed to support our clients effectively:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging and therapeutic group sessions that encourage clients to share experiences, foster connections, and learn essential communication skills.

• Individual Counseling: Provide personalized therapy that helps clients identify and explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop tailored coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their unique health needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document client progress using evidence-based assessments and tailored feedback mechanisms to track effectiveness.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside other team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care, facilitating regular communication and consultations on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing mental health services to young adults aged 18 to 30 who are experiencing a variety of mood and mental health disorders. Many of our clients arrive with complex backgrounds, and your empathetic and evidence-based therapeutic interventions will make a significant difference in their journey toward recovery. You will be instrumental in helping them identify their strengths and establish a positive foundation for their future.

Qualifications\n

• Licensure: You must possess a current LPCC licensure in the state of California.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates should have at least one year of experience in mental health treatment, specifically working with clients with mood disorders in either residential or outpatient settings. Experience with trauma-informed care principles and familiarity with evidence-based practices will be an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time LPCC position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
