This position is fully remote, allowing you to manage your professional responsibilities from the comfort of your own home. You will have a structured work schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., promoting work-life balance while fulfilling your role as a therapist. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaboratively develop customized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique goals, needs, and preferences, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in achieving their mental health objectives.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance their overall well-being.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to provide the most effective care and interventions.

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines in mental health practice.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working actively to destigmatize mental health issues in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include individuals experiencing a wide array of mental health issues, predominantly mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. You will often work with vulnerable populations, including survivors of domestic abuse, refugees, and homeless individuals, providing a safe space for healing and recovery. Your role will be crucial in guiding these clients toward improved mental health and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
