President

The client seeks a visionary, mission-focused, results-oriented leader to serve as its President and provide dynamic, collaborative leadership. The President will model the organization’s values, build strong relationships with key internal and external constituent groups, and help articulate a unifying vision to address the evolving challenges facing higher education. The client’s approach emphasizes integrated, action-and-reflection learning that prepares students for both intellectual and career success, supported by experiential and career-readiness opportunities. The President will have the opportunity to shape strategic direction for long-term success and sustainability, building on existing priorities such as future-ready and changemaking outcomes for students, an equity-minded community and culture, a distinctive value proposition, a sustainable financial future, and meaningful community impact. The President is expected to be dedicated to academic excellence in teaching and research, with a commitment to academic freedom and shared governance. The role calls for strong relationship-building skills, engagement with alumni and community, corporate, educational, and governmental leaders, and a proven track record of fundraising success; deep understanding of alumni engagement strategies; knowledge of enrollment management in a competitive environment; and sound financial acumen to navigate the challenges and financial pressures facing higher education.
