You will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day, Sat 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM; Sun 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM What You\'ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening, and other security-related duties appropriate to a government location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, document visitor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating concerns when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to observe conditions and report unusual activity or maintenance-related concerns. Complete required logs, reports, and communication with site contacts regarding access control events, policy violations, and/or emergency response activities. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. COLA: DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test/MMR vaccinations are required. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
