Heroic Roofing – South Florida

Heroic Roofing is seeking a motivated, competitive, and highly organized Residential Roofing Sales Representative to join our growing South Florida team.

We are looking for someone who wants more than a list of company-provided leads. The right person wants to build a career in roofing sales, develop their own referral network and customer base, become knowledgeable about residential roofing systems, and take ownership of their sales pipeline from initial contact through signed contract.

This is a performance-driven sales position with upside earning potential .

The selected candidate will begin with a 60-day draw , followed by commission-based compensation with upside commissions .

Additional details regarding the draw and commission structure will be discussed during the interview process.

Heroic Roofing is a Florida-licensed, veteran-owned roofing contractor serving South Florida.

$80,000 - $200,000 yearly

• Establish an up-to-date list of key customers to ensure that connections and positive relationships continue to develop
• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets through outside sales calls, on-site visits, and sales tours, and networking in the local community
• Analyze the performance of individual properties in your area and create sales plans and objectives that align with overall brand objectives
• Encourage the sales team to consistently meet or exceed sales goals and profit margins monthly, quarterly, and annually
• Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities

The Residential Roofing Sales Representative will be responsible for:

• Responding quickly and professionally to company-provided residential leads.

• Prospecting and generating new business through networking, referrals, neighborhood outreach, cold outreach, and relationship development.

• Performing residential roof inspections.

• Identifying common roofing conditions and customer needs.

• Preparing and presenting roofing proposals and system options.

• Educating homeowners on appropriate roofing solutions.

• Following up consistently with prospects until opportunities are won or lost.

• Protecting company pricing and required gross-profit margins.

• Working closely with estimating, production, office staff, ownership, subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturer representatives.

• Maintaining strong communication with customers throughout the sales and pre-production process.

• Developing referral relationships and repeat business.

• Representing Heroic Roofing professionally throughout South Florida.

Representatives will be expected to develop a strong working knowledge of the residential roofing systems offered by Heroic Roofing, including:

• Asphalt shingle roofing

• Concrete and clay tile roofing

• Standing seam and other metal roofing systems

• Modified bitumen roofing

• Roof repairs and maintenance

• Related roofing and exterior improvements

Representatives should be able to inspect residential roofs, identify common roofing conditions, explain appropriate system options, present proposals, answer homeowner questions, overcome objections, and confidently close projects.

Previous roofing, construction, home-improvement, building-material, or in-home sales experience is strongly preferred.

Strong organization and CRM management are mandatory requirements of this position.

Sales representatives are responsible for maintaining accurate and current records of their entire pipeline, including:

• New leads, contacts, and opportunities

• Phone calls, text messages, emails, appointments, and inspections

• Detailed customer notes

• Photos, proposals, and relevant documents

• Opportunity stages and statuses

• Scheduled follow-up activities

• Proposal revisions and outcomes

• Lost-opportunity reasons when available

• Clear next steps for every active customer

CRM updates should be completed promptly rather than reconstructed days or weeks later.

If an interaction is not documented in the CRM, the company will consider the interaction not completed for sales-management purposes.

Representatives are expected to know exactly where their opportunities stand and manage follow-up without requiring management to continually remind them who needs to be contacted.

This is a performance-driven and accountability-driven sales position.

Representatives are expected to:

• Maintain consistent prospecting activity.

• Follow up on all assigned opportunities.

• Generate self-sourced opportunities.

• Maintain an active and organized sales pipeline.

• Keep CRM records complete and current.

• Document customer interactions and next steps.

• Attend scheduled sales meetings and training.

• Meet established sales and gross-profit targets.

• Maintain acceptable closing ratios on qualified company-provided opportunities.

• Continually improve their knowledge of residential roofing systems.

We want sales professionals who are interested in building a substantial book of business—not simply collecting company leads.

• Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities
• This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role
• Stays organized and manage time well
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired
• 3+ years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality

Roofing, construction, home-improvement, building-material, or other relevant sales experience is preferred.
