Advanced Personnel Resources is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity with one of our clients in the Triad area. This is a newly created role that will support the accounting team with accounts receivable functions, invoicing support, payment processing, account reconciliation, and customer account follow-up. The ideal candidate will have strong Accounts Receivable experience, excellent attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a professional accounting environment. This person should be able to research and resolve discrepancies, communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, and stay organized while supporting multiple accounts receivable responsibilities.

- Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
- Pay: $31.25 per hour / $65,000 annually
- Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding balances
- Contact customers regarding payment status
- Investigate and resolve billing issues
- Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies
- Process incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
- Prepare and analyze monthly aging reports
- Support invoicing and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with month-end closing responsibilities
- Support annual audit requests as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and related functions
- SAP experience highly desired
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to resolve problems and think analytically
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High school diploma required
- Degree in Accounting preferred
