Work Environment

Operating onsite at our comprehensive rehabilitation facility, our Physical Therapists are integral to a dynamic interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff. The clinic is designed for patient-centered care and equipped with the latest technology and resources to support your professional growth. You can expect a variety of weekly hours for a total of 40 hours, including potential variable weekends to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients with functional limitations and disabilities to establish individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding patients' continuum of care and collaborate closely with referral sources to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Adhere to customer service standards, ensuring respectful and appropriate interaction with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations to interpret findings and develop effective treatment and discharge plans while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Document treatments accurately, including submitting charges for services rendered, and ensure clear communication with interdisciplinary team members and physicians at each stage of care.
• Lead community outreach initiatives, engage in quality improvement projects, and foster program development to enhance service delivery.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, including Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), aides, and students, promoting a culture of learning and development.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required to ensure the highest standard of care.
• A state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory, along with current BLS certification.

• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems is required to facilitate efficient and compliant documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

While a bachelor's degree in physical therapy is required, we prefer candidates with specialized training or experience in orthopedic physical therapy that can enhance patient outcomes and elevate our team's expertise. Experience in leadership or supervisory roles can also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
