Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and regular follow-ups with clients to evaluate their mental health status and progress.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques, ensuring each client receives personalized care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive methods to engage clients effectively.

• Provide clients with practical tools and strategies to cope with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Manage clinical documentation and maintain accurate, timely records in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients suffering from various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, requiring flexibility, empathy, and adaptability in your therapeutic approach to ensure effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work (LMSW or LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting providing therapy and assessment services.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and a commitment to employing evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Excellent crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
