Litigation Attorney

*Bennett Schechter Arcuri & Will LLP is hiring an Associate for its insurance defense practice group. *

*Responsibilities: *

* *This position involves representation of Fortune 100 and 500 companies, major retail businesses, national transportation carriers, and insurance companies in the defense of litigation claims throughout New York State*
* *Pre and post-suit investigations*
* *Appearing at pretrial conferences*
* *Drafting and arguing motions*
* *Client reporting*
* *Drafting pleadings*

*Qualifications:*

* *New York State admission*
* *Candidates must demonstrate an interest in case analysis, and logical reasoning when formulating case strategy*
* *A willingness to interact with clients, and be involved with on-site inspections and investigations where applicable*
* *Solid legal research and writing skills are necessary*
* *Prior trial experience preferred*
* *Minimum 2-4 years of litigation experience*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
