ob Title: Job Corps Student Worker Position Type: Part-Time / Temporary Reports To: Supervisor / Department Manager Position Summary The Job Corps Student Worker provides support to staff, programs, and daily operations while gaining hands-on experience in a professional work environment. This role is designed to help students develop workplace skills, explore career pathways, and build a foundation for future employment. Key Responsibilities * Assist staff with daily tasks, projects, and program activities. * Perform general clerical duties such as filing, copying, data entry, and answering phones. * Provide customer service support to students, staff, and visitors as needed. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. * Follow workplace policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. * Participate in training opportunities to strengthen technical and professional skills. * Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. * Complete other duties as assigned to support departmental goals. Qualifications * Current Job Corps student in good standing. * Willingness to learn new skills and take direction. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, email, internet navigation) preferred. * Dependable, punctual, and professional in behavior and appearance.
