Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and progress, ensuring that every session is aimed at their goals.

• Provide group, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering comprehensive mental health care to clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records compliant with standards of practice and legal requirements.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training that enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Well Path, you will work with a diverse population, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges. Our clients include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Each counselor is encouraged to bring their unique perspective and specialized skills to better serve the unique needs of our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
