The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment and utilizes the latest methodologies in physical therapy practices. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific recovery goals.Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to enhance patient outcomes.Maintain a patient caseload of approximately seven patients per day, ensuring comprehensive care and attention to each individual's needs.Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.Engage in regular communication with patients, caregivers, and medical professionals to foster a cohesive approach to each patient's rehabilitation.Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications that can aid in their recovery.Patient Population / Client FocusYour role will primarily involve working with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their rehabilitation process, guiding them through personalized therapy designed to restore function and enhance their day-to-day life. You will address the unique needs of each patient, ensuring their recovery journey is as smooth and effective as possible.QualificationsMust possess a valid New York State Physical Therapist License.A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MSPT or DPT) is required.Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing physical therapist in an outpatient setting is mandatory.Preferred ExperienceExperience with a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education.Comfortable utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and progress tracking.Familiarity with evidence-based practice models and their application in outpatient therapy settings.Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
