Work Environment

The physical therapist will operate primarily onsite within our home care setting, providing treatment in a supportive, collaborative work atmosphere. You will experience a structured work schedule with hours Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial assessments to determine patient needs, challenges, and injury history.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific goals, ensuring each plan aligns with the latest therapeutic methodologies.
• Employ a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to enhance movement functionality.
• Monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans based on evolving needs and outcomes, thereby ensuring a responsive approach to rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery techniques, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices to promote long-term wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment provided, and outcomes achieved, utilizing appropriate health record systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, including athletes at various performance levels, adults with chronic conditions, and seniors working to preserve mobility and independence. Working closely with patients, you will develop rapport and trust, which is essential for successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active New York Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Strong understanding of outpatient orthopedic practices and treatment protocols.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 110,000 and 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
