Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

\n

Isaac Morris Ltd. is seeking a dynamic, highly organized and systems-oriented Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end customer order execution, inventory management, transportation and logistics, and operational process development. This role will work directly with the Chief Operating Officer and serve as a key operational leader across the organization, driving execution, accountability, visibility and continuous improvement in a fast-paced wholesale apparel environment.

CUSTOMER ORDER FLOW & EXECUTION

\n

• Manage the full lifecycle of wholesale customer orders from PO receipt and order entry through allocation, release,

\n

shipment, ASN and invoicing.

\n

• Drive on-time, in-full (OTIF) execution and proactively identify order, inventory, routing or delivery risks before they impact

\n

the customer.

\n

• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Planning, Allocation, Compliance, Finance and Warehouse teams to resolve shortages,

\n

delays and fulfillment exceptions.

\n

• Ensure customer routing guides, ship windows, labeling, ticketing and retailer-specific requirements are followed.

\n

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

\n

• Maintain strong inventory controls and visibility across company and third-party warehouse locations.

\n

• Monitor receipts, allocations, available inventory, inventory aging, adjustments, transfers and discrepancies.

\n

• Establish cycle-count, reconciliation and root-cause processes to improve inventory accuracy between ERP and WMS

\n

platforms.

\n

• Partner with Planning and other stakeholders to improve inventory turns and reduce excess, obsolete and stranded

\n

inventory.

\n

TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS

\n

• Oversee domestic transportation including LTL, FTL, parcel, drayage and container movements, including collect and

\n

prepaid programs.

\n

• Manage carrier and 3PL performance, shipment scheduling, delivery appointments, routing compliance and freight

\n

exceptions.

\n

• Drive freight-cost optimization while maintaining customer service and delivery requirements.

\n

• Monitor transportation KPIs, claims, accessorials and service performance, and develop corrective action plans when

\n

required.

\n

ERP, WMS, EDI & OPERATIONAL SYSTEMS

\n

• Serve as a strong operational liaison between Operations, IT, Finance, Sales, Warehousing and other stakeholders for ERP

\n

workflows involving customer orders, inventory, allocation, item master data, shipping and invoicing.

\n

• Translate operational business requirements into clear system needs and work closely with IT and system partners to

\n

ensure ERP workflows support day-to-day operations effectively.

\n

• Ensure data integrity across ERP, WMS, EDI and related operational systems and integrations.

\n

• Understand and support wholesale EDI transactions such as 850, 855, 856 and 810, along with customer portals and

\n

routing platforms.

\n

• Partner with IT and business teams to identify automation opportunities, eliminate manual processes and improve

\n

operational reporting.

\n

• Develop KPI dashboards and exception reporting that provide management with clear visibility into operational

\n

performance.

\n

SOPs, CONTROLS & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

\n

• Write, implement and maintain SOPs across Operations, Logistics, Order Management, Inventory Control and

\n

Warehouse-related workflows.

\n

• Standardize processes, ownership, escalation paths and operating controls across teams and external 3PL partners.

\n

• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring operational issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.

\n

• Build scalable processes that support continued company growth without sacrificing execution or customer service.RETAILER COMPLIANCE & CHARGEBACK MANAGEMENT

\n

• Ensure adherence to retailer vendor manuals, routing guides, ASN requirements, carton specifications and delivery

\n

windows.

\n

• Monitor operational chargebacks and deductions, identify root causes and implement preventive controls.

\n

• Partner cross-functionally to improve compliance performance and reduce avoidable deductions.

\n

LEADERSHIP & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT

\n

• Provide day-to-day leadership and accountability across operational workflows and priorities.

\n

• Act as an escalation point for time-sensitive customer, warehouse, inventory and transportation issues.

\n

• Partner closely with the COO on operational initiatives, systems improvements, process design and execution.

\n

• Communicate clearly across departments and ensure issues are driven through resolution with defined ownership and

\n

timelines.

\n

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

\n

• OTIF / on-time shipment and delivery performance; order cycle time, fill rate and backlog management.

\n

• Inventory accuracy, inventory turns and reconciliation performance.

\n

• Freight cost and carrier / 3PL service performance.

\n

• Retailer chargebacks, routing violations and operational deductions.

\n

• SOP compliance, exception resolution and process-improvement results.

\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n

• 5+ years of operations, logistics, supply chain or order-management experience; wholesale apparel, consumer products or

\n

retail distribution experience strongly preferred.

\n

• Strong knowledge of wholesale order flow, retailer compliance, inventory management, transportation and 3PL operations.

\n

• Hands-on experience working with ERP and WMS platforms, EDI workflows and customer routing / vendor portals.

\n

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.

\n

• Demonstrated ability to document SOPs, build controls, analyze data and improve business processes.

\n

• Strong sense of urgency, ownership and follow-through with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume

\n

environment.

\n

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of

\n

management.

\n

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

\n

WORK ENVIRONMENT

\n

• This is a full-time, in-office position based in New York, NY, Monday through Friday.

\n

• The role requires regular collaboration with internal teams, warehouses, 3PL partners, carriers, customers and other

\n

external partners.

Salary: $90,000-$100,000
