Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active teaching license with a Special Education endorsement or certification
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies for varied learning needs
• Organizational skills and a positive, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and goals
• Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs in small groups or one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support students’ academic and behavioral progress
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction to promote student engagement and achievement
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture where all students feel valued and empowered
