Work Environment\n

The position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience in your work schedule. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly, ensuring that you can efficiently manage virtual sessions with clients. You will engage with clients through video calls, providing necessary assessments and therapy while maintaining a professional and empathetic presence. The virtual nature of this role promotes a healthy work-life balance, with core working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders, determining the severity and impact on their daily lives.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their personal goals, preferences, and unique challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, discussing treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure holistic treatment and care coordination.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consults, contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

• Become an advocate for clients, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma around mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on serving clients across a spectrum of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Your expertise and approach will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, ensuring they receive compassionate care tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Proficient understanding of evidence-based treatments specifically for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT methodologies.

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical providers.

• Demonstrated success in delivering positive outcomes in mental health treatment.
