Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Day and Night Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience preferred. License: Current Registered Nurse License in California. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Must-Have: - Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters. - Minimum of 2.5 years of recent adult medical/surgical critical care RN experience. Description: This position requires the ability to float to various departments and facilities. The role involves providing critical care to adults and geriatric patients. Successful candidates will be expected to manage complex medical conditions using advanced technologies. Nurses will assist in various procedures, including chest tube insertion and management of arterial and central lines. Candidates must have experience monitoring patients on advanced support systems and administering emergency medications. The job includes maintaining accurate patient records and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings. A strong understanding of infection prevention protocols is essential. The ability to work within a high-pressure environment and manage multiple patients simultaneously is required. All candidates will need to submit completed references prior to hire. RTO requests must be disclosed during the application process. This is a float pool position, not unit based, which requires flexibility in shift and unit assignment. Candidates are expected to have experience working with diverse patient populations. Supporting roles such as IV teams, respiratory services, and other disciplines will be available within the unit.
